To achieve the European targets set for 2030, Italy needs to strongly promote new environmentally friendly forms of mobility. The decarbonization process in Italy involves the introduction of a circulating fleet of approximately 6 million electric vehicles by 2030, for which the development of an adequate public electric charging infrastructure is required aiming, where possibile, to installa at least one charging point per 1.000 residents.

City Green Light is responsible for the supply and installation of electric charging infrastructure, and it oversees maintenance through its extensive network of technicians and maintainers across the territory. There are no costs for the municipality as City Green Light covers all expenses required for the supply, installation, management and maintenance of the service for the entire duration of the concession, including the costs for electrical grid connection.
