City Green Light builds the new bike stations at the University of Milano-Bicocca

City Green Light, through its Business Unit Termotecnica Sebina Construction Solutions, has successfully completed the construction of the new bike stations at the U6 – Agorà building of the University of Milano-Bicocca.
The project is part of a broader agreement signed with the University for the extraordinary maintenance, consolidation, and restoration of its owned and managed buildings.

    Sustainability in motion

The new bike stations, inaugurated on October 14 during the event “Sustainability in Motion”, mark another step toward a greener, more accessible, and innovative campus.
Located between Piazza dell’Ateneo Nuovo and the underlying parking area, the facilities allow students, professors, and administrative staff to securely park their bicycles in spaces equipped with changing rooms and maintenance areas.

The works, carried out by Termotecnica Sebina Construction Solutions, included extraordinary maintenance and redevelopment interventions aimed at creating functional, efficient spaces harmoniously integrated into the University’s urban context.
Special attention was given to the quality of materials and the durability of the structures, in line with Milano-Bicocca’s sustainability and innovation goals.

A tangible contribution to sustainable mobility

The new bike stations are part of the University’s broader program to promote active mobility and reduce the environmental impact of daily commuting.
During the inauguration, the Delegate for Sustainability, Matteo Colleoni, emphasized that these interventions represent “a step forward toward a green, accessible, and safe campus,” highlighting the synergy between the University, institutions, and technical partners.
