Buildings
When we consider that the entirety of the Italian buildings is amongst the most outdated in Europe is clearly understood that these very buildings severely affect the nation’s energy consumption.
Public administrations and private enterprises alike are looking for a more effective use of energy in the light of the fact that 40% of European energy demand is in buildings, thus being responsible for 36% of the greenhouse gas emissions.
The PNIEC (National Integrated Energy and Climate Plan) aims to reduce consumption by 43% by 2030, promoting renewable energy sources and lowering CO₂ emissions. Energy efficiency in buildings becomes essential to maximize performance, reduce energy consumption, environmental impact, and operating costs.
Therefore, it’s paramount to take action in this sector by upgrading a building’s efficiency, reducing thermal and energy consumption, and in so doing improving the comfort, health and safety of its inhabitants. This is at the top of today’s agenda for public administrations, private entities and businesses.

Business Unit Construction Solutions
City Green Light’s Construction Solutions Business Unit was created to develop integrated projects in the construction, technological systems and energy efficiency sectors, strengthening the Group’s ability to support cities and regions in their ecological and energy transition.
Two solid and complementary companies contribute to its expertise. Termotecnica Sebina, which joined the Group in 2025, brings with it almost fifty years of experience in the design, construction and maintenance of mechanical, electrical and specialised systems, as well as in the construction and renovation of buildings.
Founded in 1976 and having grown to become a General Contractor, the company boasts a team of over one hundred qualified professionals and a long tradition of complex projects managed with quality, innovation and sustainability. Further strengthening the Business Unit is FBF, a Venetian company that joined the Group in 2023, specialising in thermomechanical systems, electrical systems and facility management.
Thanks to its advanced expertise in energy retrofitting and its consolidated experience as a general contractor, FBF helps to guarantee integrated solutions and high-quality services that combine efficiency, sustainability and attention to the needs of its clients.
The creation of Construction Solutions is part of the broader mission of City Green Light, now Italy’s leading public lighting operator and a national benchmark in energy efficiency and smart city services.
