Conference

“THE CITY THAT LISTENS AND RESPONDS: TECHNOLOGIES, PEOPLE AND ENVIRONMENT IN DIALOGUE”
📅 13 November 2025, 2:30 – 4:00 PM
📍 Sala Marconi – BolognaFiere

Cities are the crossroads of the great challenges of our time: from the ecological transition to the digital transformation, up to the construction of more inclusive communities. The Senseable City model, conceived by Carlo Ratti, describes a city capable of ‘feeling’ citizens’ needs and responding intelligently thanks to data, technologies and innovative design. This approach opens unprecedented scenarios for the urban future, whose experimentation at international level has already begun.
Italy can and must carve its own path towards this model, enhancing what distinguishes it: the integration between technological innovation and its public spaces, through the dialogue between institutions, citizens and collaboration with businesses. In this journey, public-private partnerships (PPP) play a key role in turning ambitious visions into concrete and achievable projects.
