On July 4, City Green Light actively took part in the event that marked the beginning of the “Open-Air Laboratory” promoted by the Municipality of Pitigliano and presented at the Teatro Salvini located in the picturesque Tuscan municipality.
This ambitious project involves close collaboration between City Green Light, the Municipality of Pitigliano, ENEA, Open Fiber and other important technological partners. The primary objective is the develoment of a genuine Digital Village, which can be considered a small Smart City. This goal will be achieved through the implementation and innovation of management models applied to urban contexts and the provision of more efficient and effective digital services, always taking into account the territorial characteristics of the municipality.
The project aims to become a replicable model for the many small municipalities that characterize the Italian territory. City Green Light will actively contribute to this project through the design and implementation of a video surveillance system for strategic areas of the territory, the census of public lighting infrastructure, the analysis of the Municipality’s energy needs and the development of a roadmap for energy efficiency.
