Vicenza, November 27, 2023 – Today, during an official meeting held in Vicenza, City Green Light, a leading company in the sectors of public lighting, energy efficiency and smart city services, received the UNI/PdR 125:2022 certification on gender equality and the ISO 30415 certification on diversity and inclusion. These were personally delivered by Massimo Alvaro, CEO of Business Assurance Italy for DNV, one of the world’s leading third-party entities in accredited management system certification, training services, assurance, verification and risk management.
City Green Light is among the first companies in the sector to have obtained both important certifications, highlighting the company’s tangible commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion within its organization. City Green Light’s journey in building its “ESG Identity” is guided by organizational processes based on the best international practices.
The ISO 30415:2021 certification, issued by DNV in accordance with the international standard “Human Resource Management Diversity and Inclusion” indicates the effectiveness of City Green Light’s actions to create an inclusive work environment. This standard, aligned with the principles of the Global Compact and the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals, including gender equality, decent work and economic growth, is awarded following a rigorous verification process based on a transparent and measurable requirements.
The UNI/PdR 125:2022 certification recognizes organizations’ commitment to adopting a systemic approach and cultural change aimed at creating inclusive and equal work environments. It evaluates six specific areas: culture and strategy, governance, human resources processes, opportunities for women’s growth and inclusion in the company, gender pay equity and the protection of parenthood and work-life balance.
