Milan, 19 March 2024 – City Green Light, a company operating in the public lighting sector, energy efficiency and services for smart cities,today has finalized the agreement for the acquisition of Termotecnica Sebina, a company specialized in the design, construction and maintenance of technological systems, mechanical and electrical installations, special works and infrastructures, which in the last available financial statement generated a turnover of nearly 20 million euros.
The acquisition is part of the growth and consolidation path within the energy efficiency services outlined in the industrial plan. This path aims to transform the Vicenza-based company from a player in the public lighting sector to a reference point in supplying Italian public administrations and large companies with comprehensive smart solutions and energy efficiency.
Established in 2017 and backed by the Italian Fund for Energy Efficiency, Marguerite Infrastructure Italy II and the European Investment Bank (via Ipin 2E), City Green Light is currently the leading private operator of public lighting in Italy. It operates in over 330 municipalities and boasts extensive experience in managing over 1 million streetlights, urban and extra-urban tunnels, surveillance systems and building management and redevelopment.

Termotecnica Sebina has been active since 1976 in the field of design, construction, maintenance and installation of technological, mechanical, electrical, special systems and construction works. Its scope ranges from constructing new buildings to renovating existing structures, converting functional spaces, maintaining complex constructions and even assuming the role of a general contractor. It boasts extensive experience in industrial and production environments, transportation and infrastructure sectors, subservices and technological networks, including fiber optics, production facilities, distribution of energy from renewable sources (cogeneration, hydroelectric, wind, photovoltaic).
Headquartered in Costa Volpino (BG), it has a staff of 81 highly trained and specialized employees. As of December 31 2022, it generated revenues of €19.9 million, an increase of 8.2% compared to €18.4 million as of December 31 2021 and an EBITDA of €2.3 million for 2022, up by 87.6% compared to the previous fiscal year.
