REKINDLING THE IMAGINATION: PATHS OF LIGHT BETWEEN PAST AND PRESENT
Starting from the ancient Sassi districts and the Historic Center—where natural interplays of fullness and voids, of lights and shadows have visually sculpted the material—and reaching the more modern areas of Matera—where light reflects the values upon which the new neighborhoods have been gradually built—the exhibition proposes a journey that narrates, with the strength of images, how the optimization of public lighting has merged with the ancient spirit of the places, projecting the city towards the future, towards the contemporary. The exhibition, located at Casa delle Tecnologie Emergenti, will be open to the public, with free admission.
